Dressing office-proof for the heat

Not at all to complain about that heatwave, but it’s not easy to dress up for the office or meetings when all you want to wear is a bikini, right? This look served as the perfect compromise: breezy pieces made of light cotton that provide that South of France feel, but still cover up everything, mixed with high-quality statement accessories for that girl boss look. You might want to add high heels or a plain t-shirt to make it slightly more formal, but since I work as a freelancer I guess I can pull off a more casual look.

Let’s talk about that ultimate statement piece I’m carrying here: my new Ted Baker handbag. It doesn’t get classier than this, really. I got it at Duifhuizen, a Dutch premium bag and suitcases store. Besides their 25 stores in the Netherlands, they offer a huge online selection with some of the best travel brands such as Samsonite, Herschel and Delsey and more fashion minded labels like Valentino, Patrizia Pepe and Calvin Klein. I’ve currently got my eye on this fantastic weekend bag and a beautiful suitcase as well. And if you’re more into an Italian Dolce & Gabbana look, my bag exists in a stunning floral print as well! A winner!

PS: for those asking about that t-shirt, my boyfriend ironed me a patch on a plain white tee <3
