A few months ago I did a post about basics and how much I wanted to integrate them in my wardrobe. Unfortunately my good intentions didn't last for long, as I splurged quite a lot during the sales period in July. In August (and the end of July) however, I feel like I've done a pretty good job on concentrating on basics. I finally got myself a good pair of black skinnies, a black/grey/white t-shirt, some timeless black Converses that I've been living in ever since, a black and a straw fedora hat and this adorable oversized striped sweater that makes me feel very Parisienne. The army jacket that once belonged to my uncle and my old quilted Zara bag are two of my current favourite basics too. The only items that I still want very badly are a decent pair of light-washed jeans and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. Oh, and of course my dream hand bag, that I will purchase very very soon now!

Ik ben echt slecht in "basics" kopen, over het algemeen past het niet zo in mijn stijl maar jouw manier van basics dragen is prachtig en effortless! Vooral ook de details zoals die ketting (WANT) en de matchy riem en flats! Heel leuk.
